I see a severe lack of Eagles appreciation here. Care to explain?

Russ, just keep rooting against the Eagles... it's working. They win when you root against them.

I can't lie. This is a team that I am amazed that went into the post season. Sure, their last failure against the Redskins aside, they had a strong push that could give one the basis to argue that they deserve to be in the playoffs, but their success isn't so much their own as much as due to a lousy NFC.
That being said, after the season the Eagles had the fact that they made it past the first round of the playoffs is respectable, and truth be told I really think they are going to take the Giants and go to the NFC Championship game which would certainly be a great accomplishment. Carolina will still be the team from the NFC. As a fan I'm saying of course the Eagles are going to the Super Bowl, as a realist, the best guess would be Carolina.

As much as i love the eagles i have to say the same. they should beat the giants, but the panthers are insane at home, and we're poor at best on the road.
On the bright side, we learned this year that Tony Romo is not, and never will be Bret Favre like those assclowns at ESPN hope he is.

I have to chime in and say that I also think it's atrocious that there is no Eagles page on here, particularly now when there are so many compelling issues to discuss about the team and their improbable run to the NFC Championship game.
As for your comment, Russ, I'll remind you that the Eagles actually have three NFL championships to their name. They have no "Superbowl" wins simply because they didn't call them Superbowls yet at the time.

o, what I want to say is, even though they won Donovan is still a prick. How do you go and pick up the other teams phone and cost yoru team 15 yds towards the end of a game. I think understand though. He needed to pick up another teams phone so he could understand that a regular season game could end in a tie. Apparently Andy Reids coloring book and cheese steak couldn't tell McNaab that.

Don't expect me to defend Donovan McNabb. If you ask me, they should put the defense out there on both sides of the ball. In fact, if you made an Eagles section, the first post I would make would be a thorough thrashing of Donovan McNabb. I posted it on Facebook, all I'd have to do is cut and paste.

waaaaa, eagles, waaaaa haha i had to You forgot the quotation marks around it, followed by 'said Tony Romo in unison with Terrell Owens.' See, it should read like this: "waaaaa, eagles, waaaaa" said Tony Romo in unison with Terrell Owens. Aren't you a Cowboys fan Russ?

Well Russ was a Cowboys fan. You know, when they started off good this season. Then as they sucked he suddenly didn't like the NFL anymore. I find that suspicious Russ. Hahaha.

Technically speaking, Russ does have a point about the decline of the NFL this season. I mean, seriously - the Arizona Cardinals are hosting the NFC Championship game?
And to think that I believed anything that was graced by the presence of a certain former Penn State QB was certain to be doomed. I guess that only happens when he's actually allowed to play....

And it has nothing to do with the boys. I have just given up watching the NFL. I do not get the enjoyment i used to out of it. The same goes with the NBA. I will route for certain teams if I find myself in front of the tv where people are watching the game. But by myself I will put something else on tv.
I think one of the frustrating things to me is how sports shows, especially SportsCenter, do their top plays. When the same dunk you have seen for years, or some over grown football player makes a huge hit, which at this point they all are huge hits because everyone is huge . When those play out rank a hockey move or an amazing save or when a baseball makes a legit diving grab(i mean dont get me wrong their are some catches made in the majors where they do not need to dive). One example i think was tuesday night. I think it was Osgood made a huuuuge save. They made it the number one play to a dunk by a college kid. There was nothing different or interesting about the dunk. Osgoods play should have been number one of the week.
I could go on and on about why I do not watch anymore. Ill spare everyone from reading. So moose, not it is not because the Cowboys havent been playing good or because they have not won a playoff game in 12 years. Hell if I didnt route for teams because they sycked at getting to the playoffs or sucked in the playoffs why did i continue to route for the phils haha.
