Yes, there are other sports besides the football team. (And that silly excuse of a sideshow we call a "basketball team".)
So how about some love for the women's volleyball team, eh? They'll be playing their first home games of the season this weekend, playing 3 games in 2 days against Long Island, George Washington, and Villanova. It'll be the first home games after they took home the National Championship last year.
These games come on the heels of an impressive opening trip to Hawaii for the Hawaiian Airlines Classic. The opened the season with three wins (all 3-0) against the #11 host Hawaii, #6 UCLA, and Ohio University. Shaping up to be another exciting year of volleyball in Happy Valley.
