Not that I want this to happen God No!!! But the New Jersey Devils are going to win the stanley cup. Atleast I see them at the favorite heading into the playoff with about ten games to go. I know this is going to draw negative posts below, but seriously there 6 points behind Boston and have played 3 less games, not that this makes them tied or 1st places get you the cup. I feel the wings and sharks have a chance out west but they are slowly becoming win now or never teams while NJ was revitialize there line up with some young stars. Any how Martin Brodeur in the last 4 season since winning the cup in 2003 has played: 75,73,78,77 games thats an average of almost 76 games a year! Fresh legs anyone they have sucked in the played because hes been to worn out to move. With the devils streaking and Marty having enough time to return to form I see them running the table in 5 and 6 games throughout the playoffs.

Brodeur looks like he's on a week long hangover from his All Time Wins party...
That said, NJ is going to be a force to reckon with in the playoffs, but they are beatable. I'm not saying that we would beat them, but we'd have a shot. We're one of few teams that do.
