There are a few guys that I would love to have on the big league roster.
The phils are really looking for right handed bats from the bench. They have three guys they could bring up with them from clearwater. One being Donald. He seems very promising. I do not know whether he is two young yet or not enough experience. However, any way you slice it we have 4 catchers on the team. Someone will not be here.
Another would be John Mayberry. Yes yes the man we traded for. He has some pop. Did anyone seem to catch his shot over the teeki bar in left field. WOW.
The last would be somone who is fighting to come back. Marcus Giles. He still seems very speedy. He has stolen a few bases in spring training thus far. If for nothing else he coudl be that pinch runner off the bench.
Anyone think any number of these three will be invited?

I'm assuming you mean the 25-man roster and not the 40-man. It's likely all of them will be on the 40 man roster.
With both Feliz and Utley looking to be ready for the season opener, I'm guessing the number of young players will be slim to the more likely none. I'm assuming we'll stick with 12 pitchers, leaving 13 hitters. 8 starters are set in stone leaving 5 bench spots.
One will be a catcher - I'm leaning towards Paulino right now for no other reason than we traded for him. Marson likely plays Triple-A, Coste goes back to Double-A. Somebody's getting traded. Dobbs grabs one spot easily for his work last year. Bruntlett likely sticks around because of his versatility. And his awesome beard. Jenkins and Stairs probably stay due to their league tenure and they fill out the OF.
That's it - those are the five. Are they set in stone? Of course not - "backup catcher" and Dobbs are set. The other three are "expendable" to an extent. They may start out the season filling out the bench, but you never know when a trade comes up to bring up a Mayberry or a Donald - that may also depend on how they do on the farm.
